Ya me conecté de nuevo. Llegamos a destino y estamos de lo más bien. Un poco apiñados y yo con el pelo horroroso por la humedad, pero estamos felices. Algo que hemos comentado en estos días es lo distinta que huele la Navidad y las fiestas. El olfato es el sentido más olvidado, pero que gatilla recuerdos instantáneamente. Puede ser divertido, pero acá huele a mandarinas, menta, canela y zapallo por todos lados, un poco a chocolate y jengibre. A ajo también, como ustedes saben soy vampiro (no del tipo de Crepúsculo, menos mal) y arranco. En la casa, la Pascua huele a frutillas, duraznos, chocolate a asado y un poco a sandía, limón y jengibre, así que nos dio un poco de nostalgia, sobre todo al ver el precio de los duraznos!
   Preguntándoles a los niños qué olores eran los que más les gustaban en la vida, salieron la lavanda, las rosas, la comida de la casa, algunas cosas asquerosas también, pero el que más más les gustaba era el olor a la mamá! A mí también me encanta el olor de mi mamá!!
   Siguiendo con el tema, el departamento ya huele a nosotros, no sé si será bueno o malo....

   I'm on line again. We arrived safe and we are doing just fine. A bit tight and with a horrid humidity frizz, but we are happy. Something we had been talking about this days is how different Christmas and this holidays smells here. Smell is the forgotten sense, but it triggers so many memories instantly. It may be funny, but here you can smell clementines, peppermint, cinnamon and pumpkin, a bit of chocolate and ginger too. Also garlic, as you know I'm a vampire (not in the Twilight way, thank God) and I run away from it. At home, Christmas smells like strawberries, peaches, chocolate, barbecues, and a bit of watermelon, lemon and ginger, so we got a little nostalgic, even more when we saw how much peaches cost!
   Asking the kids which were their favorite scents in life,  this came: lavender, roses, homemade food, some nasty things too, but the one they like the most was mom's scent! I love my mom's smell too!
   Going on with the subject, I think the apartment already smells like us, don't know if it is a good thing though.....
