algo de seguridad en el bolsillo / some pocket size confidence

En dos semanas más el mayor de mis hombres entra al colegio por primera vez. Me da una pena negra, lo encuentro tan chico! Pero está preparado y ansioso, viendo las cosas que va a usar y cómo va a ser lo que se le viene. Ojalá que los primeros días le resulten increíbles! Con la experiencia que tengo de las dos niñitas mayores, lo que mejor me ha resultado para que se quieran quedar sin problemas es explicarles que conozco a la amororsa profesora y ella me conoce a mí, y que cualquier cosa me va a avisar, pero sobre todo un papelito en el bolsillo con mi número de teléfono escrito les da una seguridad enorme. Después me acordé de unos corazones para el bolsillo que vi hace tiempo acá, y decidí hacer una mezcla en versión masculina (se muere si le doy un corazón), una estrella de teléfono, para darle seguridad para el bolsillo en su primer día de colegio. In two weeks my biggest son is entering school for the first time. I can barely take it, he is so small! Then I remembered something I saw here, and came up with an hybrid in male version (he could die if I gave him a heart), a phone number star, to give him some pocket size confidence on his first day at school. Fieltro o paño lenci de dos colores / two colors of felt
hilo colorido / colorful thread
aguja / needle
tijeras / scissors
algodón / cotton
flores de lavanda o romero / lavender flowers or rosemary
plumón permanente / permanent marker

1.- Marcamos la estrella y la recortamos dos veces / we mark the star and cut it twice

2.- Cosemos las dos partes por los bordes, dejando espacio para meter el relleno. / We sew both pieces toghether by the edges, leaving space to fill it

3.- Escribimos nuestro número con plumón / we write our number with permanent marker

5.- Lo rellenamos con un poco de algodón y unas flores de lavanda u hojas de romero, para que sientan olor rico y tranquilo cuando lo miren, y lo cosemos hasta cerrarlo. / we fill it with some cotton and a couple of lavender flowers or rosemary leaves, so when they look at it they can smell something nice and calm, and then we sew it until closed.
