Hace diez años, tenía 23 primaveras y estaba esperando de 37 semanas y media. En la noche me dio un antojo bien malo de burritos del KFC, yo creo que eso fue la gota que rebalsó el vaso, claramente la comida iba a estar mejor afuera que adentro. A pesar de tener muchos sobrinos y de haber leído todo lo que tenía que leer, no tenía idea de cómo era traer a alguien al mundo. Así que ni pesqué las primeras contracciones, seguí durmiendo. Después el marido se fue al trabajo y me puse a hacer todo lo que no tenía que hacer, esfuerzos, ducha larga, etc... A las 10 ya no di más y llamé por teléfono a mi marido para que me fuera a buscar y no lo encontré! Le tuve que dejar recado. Nadie la esperaba tanto tiempo antes, no me pescaron mucho hasta que la matrona me revisó y me mandó a la clínica "Viene tu guagua!". Cada salto en el camino era un horror! Cuando llegué, sólo se demoró dos horas en nacer, así que la anestesia no tuvo efecto hasta después. Era perfecta, chiquitita y arrugadita, parecía una tortuga, la tortuga más linda del mundo. "Está bien?" "Sí, está súper bien, un poco baja de peso, porque su cordón es muy delgado, pero salió para alimentarse mejor!" Entonces, mientras estábamos regaloneando, ella sobre mi pecho, levantó la cabeza para mirar!! A los minutos de haber nacido y así es hasta el día de hoy, siempre quiere saber lo que está pasando. 

   Cosas divertidas pasaron muchas, como que al marido le diera fatiga en la mitad o que la anestesia me dejara sólo con la mitad de los brazos despiertos y no podía taparme mi humanidad que se salía de la bata cuando llegaron las visitas.... Pero lo más importante es que hace diez años, que se me hacen nada, llegó esta niñita linda a enseñarme a ser mamá. Y ahora está grande, alta, llena de inquietudes, con opinión sobre la vida y llena de risa también. Tenemos que agradecer mucho a Alguien por eso. Feliz cumpleaños Tere, te queremos mucho!!!

   Ten years ago, I was 23 and 37 and a half weeks pregnant. That night I had a bad craving for burritos from KFC, I think that was the straw that broke the camel, the food would clearly be better outside than inside. Despite having many nephews and having read all I had to read, I had no idea what it was like to bring someone to the world. So I didn't mind the first contractions and I continued sleeping. Then the husband went to work and started to do all that I shouldn't have done, efforts, long shower, etc ... At 10 in the morning I couldn't stand it any more and I phoned my husband to pick me up, but I didn't find him! I had to leave a message. No one was waiting her yet, so mo one paid much attention until the midwife checked me and sent me to the hospital: "This baby is coming!!". Each bump in the road was a horror! Since I arrived, the birth only took two hours, so that anesthesia had no effect until later. She was perfect, tiny and wrinkled, looked like a turtle, the most beautiful turtle in the world. "Is she okay?" "Yes, she's really fine, a little underweight because her cord is very thin, but she came out to eat better!" And while we were bonding, she over my chest, she raised her head up to have a glimpse! Within minutes of being born, and that's until today, always wants to know what's going on. 

   Many funny things happened, like the husband almost fainting, or the anesthesia leaving me with only half of the arms moving so I couldn't cover myself and my humanity that went off the gown when visitors arrived .... But the most important thing is that ten years ago, that seems yesterday, this pretty little girl came to teach me how to be a mom. And now she's big, tall, full of curiosity, has opinion of life and laughs a lot too.  We have Someone to thank a lot. Tere, Happy Birthday, we love you so much!!

   Para el regalo de este día especial, hice un papel especial y le gustó mucho! No lo quería romper. Con unas pocas cosas lindas podemos hacer que un papel liso o incluso los avisos económicos del diario, se transformen en un papel de regalo con historia y dedicación. ¿Les gusta también?
