¿Les gustaría hacer su propia papelería en relieve? Si les digo que es facilísimo y que en la casa tenemos casi todo lo que se necesita, me creen? Miren qué lindas las tarjetas, sólo necesitamos imaginación y jugar un rato para dominar la técnica.

tarjetas con relieve / embossed cards

1 pedazo de cartón (NO corrugado) / piece of cardboard (NOT corrugated)

pegamento líquido tipo cola fría / liquid glue

cuchillo cartonero / exacto knife

papel texturado, como para pintar acuarela o similar. / textured paper, like watercolor one

herramienta dobladora de papeles o una regla plástica / bone paper folder or a plastic ruler

todo lo que quieras para adornar / anything you want to decorate

hay dos sistemas / there are two ways of making it

1.- especial para figuras más curvas o para escribir palabras, en un cartón dibujamos lo que queremos con un pegamento líquido que al secar quede firme. El frasco debe tener punta dosificadora y mientras mas fina más prolijo queda. Lo dejamos secar, luego ponemos el papel encima y pasamos la herramienta o la regla de lado encima sólo para saber dónde está exactamente la figura y después con la punta repasamos el borde firmemente. La primera vez va a quedar como de niño de cinco años, pero a medida que tengamos práctica cada vez va a quedar mejor.

especially for curvier shapes or to write words, draw on the cardboard what you want with a liquid glue that dries hard. The bottle must have a dispensing tip the more fine it is, the neater. Let it dry, then put the paper on top and pass the tool or rule above it on it's side, just to know where exactly the figure is and then go over the edge with the tip firmly. The first time will be as made by a five years old, but as we practice it gets great.

2.- la segunda queda muy bien cuando queremos que el diseño sobresalga del papel y se hace cortando la forma con un cuchillo cartonero. Luego ponemos el papel encima, pasamos la herramienta o la regla de lado para ver dónde está la figura y con la punta repasamos el borde y toda la forma por dentro. Damos vuelta el papel y vemos qué lindo quedó.

the second one looks good when we want the design to stand out from the paper and it's made by cutting the shape with a craft knife. Then we put the paper on top, we pass the rule or tool sideways to see where the shape is shape and go over the edge with the tip and all the way inside. We turn the paper and see how nice it turned out.
