¡¡Fin de semana largo otra vez!! Este año me encanta. No sé cómo vamos a sobrevivir al siguiente, que tiene muchos menos, jaja!

   Jon es ilustrador y autor de un libro genial y divertido que se llama "I want my hat back". Ojalá que lo publiquen luego en español, para que lo puedan leer todos. Este fin de mes sale la segunda entrega: "This is not my hat", estamos esperándolo en esta casa!

   Jon is an illustrator and author of a great and funny book called "I want my hat back". Hopefully then it gets published soon in Spanish, so everyone can read it. This end of month comes the second delivery: "This is not my hat", we are waiting for it at this home!

   Como vamos a tener más tiempo, con un día libre, se me ocurrió que podríamos aprovechar de hacer más entretenida la pieza de nuestros niños con alguna de las idea que aparecen en este link. Son todas simples y fáciles. Podemos usar cosas que ya tenemos, un poco de pintura, clavos... no dejen de revisarlas!

   Since we will have more time, with a day off, I thought we could take advantage of it and make our kids bedroom more more fun with some of the ideas in this link. They are all simple and easy. We can use things we already have, some paint, nails ... check them!

   Después, nos vamos a la cocina y con un sartén y algún snack ensayamos el viejo truco de dar vuelta las cosas en el sartén sin botarlas al suelo. Vean este video, practiquen y lúzcanse!

   Para el cumpleaños o celebración que seguro van a tener en estas semanas, qué les parece esta idea? Son flores impresas en papel diamante, aunque puede ser en papel normal. Recortadas y pasadas por palos de brochetas son un adorno precioso para cualquier torta. Sólo hay que escribir "bird's eye view flowers" en un buscador de imágenes y arman una página para imprimir.    For those birthday and celebrations that you will sure have in these weeks, how about this idea? They are flowers printed on vellum, but we can also make them on regular paper.    Y algo para el día de lluvia que quizás viene: unos títeres de dedo muy lindos! Cortemos las partes de distintos colores y que cada uno arme el suyo. Los niños se entretienen por horas haciéndolos y después jugando. Hagan click y van.

   And something for the rainy day that may come: some very cute finger puppets! Let's cut the parts on different colors and each one makes a different one. Kids will be entertained for hours making them and then playing. Click and go.
