Este regalo es rápido y fácil de hacer, podemos jugar con los colores, dejarlas minimales, serias, o también propias de un duende. Los materiales los pueden encontrar en una librería o hasta en el supermercado y son baratos. Una sorpresa ideal para los niños y también para los grandes, pueden ponerlas en las botas de Pascua para ocuparlas en la mañana de Navidad: pantuflas de fieltro o paño lenci! Hagan su propio molde a medida, atrévanse que les va a encantar.

   This gift is quick and easy to make, we can play with colors, leaving them minimal, serious, or just right for an elf. The supplies can be found at many stores or even at the supermarket and are inexpensive. A perfect surprise for the kids and also for the big ones, you can use them as stocking fillers and use them on Christmas morning: felt slippers! 1.- En una hoja copiamos el contorno de la suela de un zapato que le quede bien al regalado y le añadimos 2cm/0.5inch hacia afuera, para dejarlo más ancho (muy importante!). Éste es el molde de la planta. / On a sheet copy the contour of the sole of a shoe that fits well to the given one and add 2cm/0.5inch out, to let  it wider (esencial!). This is the base pattern.

2.- En otro papel, copiamos el molde de la planta y usando la regla lo dividimos por la mitad y la mitad superior en tercios. Hacemos una línea diagonal entre la mitad del borde interno del pie y el primer tercio externo del pie. Queda como una media luna, que es la primera parte del molde superior. / In another paper, copy the base pattern and using the ruler, divide it in half and upper half into thirds. We make a diagonal line between the middle of the inner edge of the foot and the outer third of the foot first. It is like a half moon, which is the first part of the upper pattern.

3.- En un tercer papel copiamos de nuevo el molde de la planta y con la regla lo dividimos otra vez por la mitad y la mitad superior en tercios. Hacemos esta vez la línea diagonal entre la mitad externa y el tercio superior interno del pie. Queda otra media luna que es el molde que nos faltaba de la parte superior. / In a third paper, copy again the base pattern and with the ruler, divide it in half again and the top half into thirds. We make this time the diagonal line between the outer half and the upper third of the foot. There is another half moon which is the pattern we were missing from the upper pattern. 

4.- Copiamos el molde de la planta por un lado y después por el revés sobre la goma eva, con un poco de sobra para las costuras y lo recortamos. Luego hacemos lo mismo sobre el fieltro y lo recortamos también. Cosemos entonces por el borde un pedazo de goma eva con el de fieltro que corresponde, para armar la base. / Copy the base pattern on one side and then the reverse over the craft foam, with a little to spare for the seams and cut it. Then do the same on the felt and cut it too. Then sew over the edge a piece of craft foam with felt that corresponds to assemble the base.

5.- Copiamos los moldes que quedan en el fieltro, dos de cada uno con un poco de sobra para las costuras. Cosemos el borde recto de cada pieza con un hilo contrastante. / We copy the left patterns over the felt, two of each with a little to spare for the seams. Sew the straight edge of each piece with a contrasting thread.

6.- Armamos cada pantufla, lo sujetamos con un alfiler y cosemos las piezas juntas con un hilo contrastante. Al terminar podemos dejar mejor terminados los bordes con unas tijeras, si lo necesita. Listas las pantuflas más lindas! / We put together each slipper, hold it with a pin and sew the pieces together with a contrasting thread. We can finish the edges with scissors, if needed, when we are ready. Cutest slippers ever!
