Mientras algunos volvemos de las vacaciones, otros como nuestra amiga Tere P. se van! Y para complementar el post de consejos para viajar con niños hoy nos presenta una selección de juegos para el auto, pase a ver:

¡Me voy de vacaciones!
El viaje es de 10 horas en auto, por lo que hay que estar preparados para que la paz y la armonía familiar (papá, mamá y 4 niños) reine en el pequeño espacio que vamos a compartir…todos juntos…en el auto…¿Ya les dije que eran 10 horas? Uf…
I'm going on vacation!
The trip takes 10 hours by car, so you have to be prepared to keep the family in peace and harmony (dad, mom and 4 children) within the small space that we will share ... together ... inside the car ... Did I tell you it was 10 hours? Ugh ...
Les doy una lista de juegos que siempre entretienen a mi familia y proporcionan minutos de paz durante el viaje.Para evitar el stress hay que prepararse con anticipación tener materiales y premios(muy importante).
Here's a list of games that always entertain my family and provide minutes of peace during the trip.
To avoid the stress, you must be prepared in advance: have your materials and prizes (that's important).
1.-Lista del Supermercado / Grocery Game
Es un juego de memoria. Para empezar un jugados nombra un producto disponible en el supermercado que empieza con A. El siguiente jugador tiene que repetir ese producto y agregar otro que comience con la letra B. Por ejemplo, uno dice "arroz" y el otro dice "arroz, bananas". Al que se le olvida la lista queda fuera. Se puede jugar también con animales o nombres.
It's a memory game. To begin, the first player names an object available at a grocery store that starts with the letter A. The next player has to repeat what the first player said and then add another grocery item that starts with a B. For example, if a placer says "apples" the other placer would repeat "apples" and then add "bananas." If you forget a grocery item, you're out, and the game continues until the player with the best memory wins.If groceries aren't your thing, you can play with animals, sports or people's names.
2.- Deletrear / Spelling:
Este juego no es muy popular en mi familia pero para aquellos más intelectuales puede ser muy entretenido. Los papás eligen la primera palabra y al primer jugador, ése elige al siguiente y su palabra. This game is not very popular in my family, but for those more intellectual it can be very fun. Parent pick the first player and word and he or she picks the next one.
3.- Veo veo / I Spy
Un jugador ve un objeto y los demás tienen que adivinar qué es haciendo preguntas a las que sólo se puede contestar con un Si o un No.
A player sees an object and the others have to guess what it is by asking questions that can only be answered with a Yes or No.
4.- Cuentacuentos por equipos / Team storytelling
Se divide a los pasajeros en equipos y se deja que uno sea el árbitro. Generalmente es el conductor para que pueda manejar tranquilo. Cada equipo establece un lugar, un personaje y un objeto que la historia del equipo contrario debe tener. El mejor cuento gana.
Passengers are divided into teams and one is left out to be the referee. Generally it is the driver so he/she can drive in peace. Each team provides a place, a person and an object that has to appear in the opposing team story. The best story wins.
5.- Veo veo colores / Colors I Spy
Cada jugador elige un color y tiene que ir mirando por la ventana cuántas cosas de ese color encuentra. Gana el que vio más cosas del color elegido o se le puede asignar puntaje a los objetos según su tamaño.
Each player chooses a color and have to look out the window to find things with the chosen color. The winner is the one that finds the biggest amount of things of the chosen color or you can assign score to objects by size.
6.- Quien soy / Who am I?
Se escribe en varios papeles (yo uso Post It) el nombre de varios personajes que sean conocidos por todos los pasajeros. Cada pasajero, sin ver el nombre escrito en el papel, se pega un papel en la frente y tiene que adivinar cuál es su personaje mediante preguntas a las que los demás pasajeros sólo pueden contestar con un Si o No.
You write in several papers (I use Post Its) the name of several characters that are known to all passengers. Each passenger, without seeing the name written on his/her paper, sticks a paper on his/her forehead and has to guess who his/her character is through questions that other passengers can only answer with a Yes or No.
