¿Ya salieron de vacaciones sus niños? Por acá les queda sólo un día, pero los primos ya salieron, entonces el ambiente está tenso: todos quieren salir a jugar en vez de preparar cosas para el colegio! En fin, cambia la rutina en este par de semanas y es bueno pensar desde antes cómo queremos que sean los días, pensar en un pequeño orden diario, que los deje descansar, pero que también nos ayude a dejar la casa funcionando a buena hora. Lo ideal es pensar en incentivos para que vayan cumpliendo sus metas diarias, quizás panoramas, juegos, tardes de cine, visitas a la biblioteca.... Mañana les vamos a dejar más ideas, pero por el momento tenemos para descargar y guardar dos hojas entretenidas: podemos hacer entre todos un concurso! Puede ser de dibujo invernal o de poesía divertida para los que ya saben escribir. El formato de poesía es para hacer un acróstico, esos poemas cuyas primeras letras forman una palabra, que es el tema del que habla. Pueden poner acrósticos en su buscador preferido para mostrarles, hay algunos geniales de grandes autores, aunque también han servido para dejar mensajes ocultos y pistas a lo largo de la historia. Abajo además hay espacio para hacer un dibujo. Piensen quién puede ser el honorable jurado que decida los ganadores y listo! Garantizado que enganchan para pasar una tarde buenísima.

   Are your kids out on vacation yet? Here we have one day left, but cousins are out, so we're having a hard time trying to get things ready for school instead of going out to play. Anyways, routine changes at home these couple of weeks, so it can be a good idea to think before some schedule for what we want for each day, letting them rest, but allowing us to get the house rolling at a decent hour. The best thing to do is to think about incentives for their little goals, say a date with us, games, movie night, library visits... We'll give you some other ideas tomorrow, but for now we have a couple of downloadable sheets: we can have an art or a poetry contest! It can be a winterly drawing or an acrostic, one of those poems which have a word hidden in the first letters of each verse and that's the theme if it. You can search for fun acrostics to show the kids before, and tell them how they have been used during all times in history to hide messages and clues. You have to decide who can be the jury and you're set! Ready for a great afternoon.
